The Panama Canal goes from Panama City on the Isthmus of Panama (lower right) up to Colon at the Caribbean Sea in the upper left
Saint Martin is way south approx., 1500 miles south of Miami in the Lesser Antilles
Iraq -- The distance from North Carolina to Iraq is approximately 7000 miles ... a long way from home, and a trip that Robert made three times with his National Guard unit. His photo has also now made the trip to take him there in spirit again.
